Shop opening times over the May bank holiday.

Saturday 29th May open from 10am till 2pm.

Sunday Closed

Monday Closed.

Tuesday 1st May 2010. Open as usual from 9am.

 

New shop in Corwen is open.  
   
The building of our new combined shop, Mail Order, warehouse and office is finished.  
   

We are situated in Corwen, North Wales just off the A5. The shop is the largest dedicated military shop in the country. We have on display all our ranges of Modern military, WW2 and Vietnam re-enactment clothing and equipment.

Later in the year we will be adding displays of equipment that has been used in films etc.

HOW TO FIND US.
Directions from Manchester/Liverpool.    

If you are travelling from the direction of Liverpool/Manchester :

  • Head towards Chester.
  • Take the by-pass around the south of Chester on the A55.
  • Turn onto the A483 and travel towards Wrexham.
  • Stay on the A483 past Wrexham, and when you reach the Chirk roundabout turn right towards Llangollen on the A5.
  • At the bottom of the hill go across the small roundabout and follow the signs for Llangollen on the A5, and on to Corwen.
  • See below for directions once in Corwen.
   
Directions from Birmingham.    

If you are travelling from the direction of Birmingham :

  • Take the M54 past Telford.
  • Continue on the A5 towards Shrewsbury.
  • Keep on the A5 past Shrewsbury and Oswestry.  Continue on the A5 and follow the signs for Llangollen. You will need to turn left at a roundabout soon after you have crossed the high bridge.
  • Go straight through Llangollen on the A5, and on to Corwen. 
  • See below for directions once in Corwen.

Once you have passed through Llangollen do not turn off the A5 untill you reach Corwen, some sat Navs will tell you turn at Carrog but this will take you down narrow lanes and it does not save you any time.    
Directions once you have reached Corwen.    

We are not in the centre of Corwen so you will need to follow these directions when you reach Corwen. Approaching from Llangollen direction on the A5 :

  • Once you reach the shops in the centre of Corwen on the A5 turn right by the statue of a knight (Owain Glyndwr) on a horse. It is signposted for Car Parking and Swimming baths.
  • Go past the car park and follow the road out of town, past the tennis courts towards the swimming baths.
  • You will go over a bridge and up a hill. Turn left at the top of the hill (the swimming baths is opposite the T-junction).
  • After about 400 meters you will reach a school on the left.  Turn right just after the school into the Tyn-Y-Llidiart Ind. Est.
  • Go through the set of gates to the right and park in front of the offices.
  • The entrance to the shop is to the right of the offices.
