American WW2 Army 1942 pattern Green HBT (Herringbone Twill) trousers. These are made in the light tone of green, which is a correct war time colour, there was also a dark green colour version, both where used in WW2 by the US Army.
These US Army HBT trousers where introduced in 1942. The colour is the earlier war green, which is a lighter shade of green than the later war pattern.
These trousers were worn by some assault troops, on the D-Day Normandy landing invasion, over their wool trousers and worn by themselves in the summer as they where more comfortable than wool trousers.
Can be worn as part of a US Infantry uniform including a US Rangers uniform.
- Cargo leg pocket on each leg.
- Leg pockets have a pleat down the middle.
- Metal buttons with a design of stars on them.

- Gas flap behind the button up flap this was officially designated as "Special" in the US military name for these trousers.
