American style M1943 entrenching tool.
This is the WW2 style folding E tool introduced in WW2 to replace the M1928 T handle entrenching tool.
The M43 E tool has a folding head so it is easier to carry than the M1928 E tool.
This is a post war European made E tool but is very similar to the US M42 E tool, the only difference is the metal spade part which is not seen when it is the carrying pouch.
Price for the E tool only, the carrier is not included.
The M43 E tool was still being used by the US Army and in particular the USMC in Vietnam.
So you can use this for a WW2 or a Vietnam impression.
