French Napoleonic Imperial Guard Briquet Short Sword by Lantern Armouries

Lantern Armouries Imperial Guard Briquet  is handmade by Sword smiths using traditional craftsman's methods and has all the features of the originals including

Napoleons famous Imperial Guard  carried this Napoleonic Infantry Cutlass, known as a Briquet Sword, as a second line of defense after their Charlesville Flintlock Musket. It would have been used during both the Peninsular war 1807-1804  and at the Battle of Waterloo in June 1815. A classic French sidearm from the Napoleonic Wars!
