German WW2 black leather SS officers belt for the service uniform by Richard Underwood Militaria.
This is the belt that was worn with the round SS officers buckle. The leather belt was worn as part of the service uniform in the field, around camp and while off duty. Although it was intended to be worn in the field as part of the combat uniform, the buckle was easy to come undone so it was often replaced by the plain officers leather belt with a double claw buckle as the buckle double claw buckle was more secure than this belt, but it was still worn when not in the field.
This belt was issued between 1933 and 1945 it was worn first by the Allgemeine SS and was then used by Officers of the Waffen SS as part of the service uniform.
This German SS Officers leather belt was also worn with a cross strap in the pre war and early part of WW2.
For full dress wear the round buckle that was worn with this belt was worn on the brocade belt (silver wire bullion belt).
The price is for the leather belt only it has the female part of the buckle clasp on one end but it does not include the buckle or cross strap. The buckle is sold separately see below in related items.
This belt by Richard Underwood Militaria (RUM) is made with a thicker leather and better hardware than the other SS officers belt that we also sell.
Price is for 1 x SS black leather belt in black by Richard Underwood Militaria.
