Kabar Neck knife 1117

Lightweight one piece fixed knife from Ka-Bar, this type of knife is traditionally called a neck knife as it is light enough to hang from a cord around your neck but it can be carried in many ways.

The shape of the blade is the traditional US Marines Ka-Bar field knife but made smaller and the handle has been skeletonised to make it as small and lightweight as possible. There is a finger groove just behind the cross guard with grooves cut into the other side for the thumb to rest on, this gives good grip and control.

The one piece knife is black coated and is made from 1095 Cro-Van steel.

The knife clips into the glass filled black plastic sheath and although there is no belt clip on the sheath there are plenty of holes and eyelets around the edge so you can attach a neck cord or thread cord through the holes so you can tie it directly onto a belt, tactical vest or shoulder strap etc.

Price includes knife and sheath, no cord is included.

Features:

  • 1095 Cro-Van steel.
  • Steel is HRC 56 -58.
  • All black.
  • Plastic sheath.
  • Sheath made in Taiwan.
  • Knife made in the USA.

  • When carrying or using a knife, there are a few simple laws which may apply to you that you should be aware of:-
  • You can carry a small folding (non locking) pocket knife with a cutting edge of less than 3" in any place in theUKthat doesn’t have specific restrictions against pointed instruments e.g. airports
  • If you need to use a locking knife for added safety, or a fixed bladed knife then you may be required to give ‘good reason’ for carrying it if asked to do so by a Police Officer. Good reason may include, pursuit of a leisure activity e.g. re-enactment, fishing, camping, hunting, or as a tool of work or trade e.g. military, joiner, plumber or delivery driver.
  • Carry and use your knife responsibly. A knife is a tool and an everyday object that should not be used irresponsibly.
