Worn by the Polish Independent Carpathian Brigade during the battle of Tobuck
This smaller cast brass eagle were made in Palestine around mid 1940 after the Polish troops left the Vichy French army and joined the Allies. They left for Eqypt in October 1940 and preformed garrison duties until 1941 when there motorised and went to relieve Tobuck
The Polish troops issued British Battle Dress and KD uniform, this badge was worn on KD FS cap with the 2 small polish national buttons.
