German "For Our soldiers" document case 1943/44
This type of case "Fur Unsere Soldaten" was very popular amoung troops as it could fit in a tunic pocket and contain all there personnel and private documents they required. The document case could either be a gift from a loved one back home or bought by the Soldier in the Regimental canteen shop.
