Fallschirmjager Y Straps Black Leather by Richard Underwood

German WW2 Fallschirmjager equipment Y straps.

Really nice high quality leather, you can bend these and the leather will not crack. The leather has been dyed black so unlike some makes which are painted black, the black will not flake off.

The design of the paratrooper Y straps are more basic than the Infantry model and is made with three straps. 

German WW2 Fallschirmjager, paratrooper, Y straps features: 

• Top quality leather.
• Correct 3 strap design.
• Each strap has a grey painted metal belt hook fitted at the ends which are adjustable.
• The rear strap has a protective flap of leather sewn on to it.
• Leather tab sewn onto the end of each strap.
• The three straps are connected and sewn onto a grey painted metal ring which fits at the back of the shoulders.
• Leather has the slightly rougher side on the outside and the smoother side on the inside.
