SS Arm Eagle Early War by Richard Underwood Militaria

Early war SS arm eagle badge usually worn on the M36, M40 and M42 tunics in WW2.

This is the pattern of SS eagle badge that was worn on the arm of tunics at the beginning of WW2. The early war Waffen SS arm eagle is embroidered onto a black wool background and the stitching is heavier (thicker) than the later version. The eagle has a diamond design to its body.
