The field green (often referred to as field grey) shoulder boards are piped with panzer pink piping. 

We refer to the shoulder boards as the M40 model or pattern simply as they can be worn with the M40, M42, M43 and the M44 uniforms. They are sometimes referred to as the M43, mid war, late war or just the field grey shoulder boards but we call them the M40 for ease of identity.
