This is the earlier pattern of M43 cap which has a single button closure on the front.
This waffen SS feldmutze M43 cap also has the eagle and swastika badge sewn on the side with the SS skull badge sewn on the front.
Correct M43 wool feldmutze is made in Germany by EREL who was a wartime hat manufacture for the German army and the M43 includes quality 2 piece waffen SS insignia ,in the correct Bevo style ready sewn on. The Bevo badges are the large size SS skull on the front and the SS eagle and swastika sewn onto the side of the M43 cap.
This German made M43 cap is made by EREL and features:
