The purchase of this product is restricted.

You must be over 18 years of age to purchase a knife. By ticking this box you consent to an age verification check by Experian.

This is the American M3 knife which is sometimes called the para leg knife as it was often seen strapped around the boots of the US airborne paratroopers.

The M3 sheath knife was issued to all soldiers in the American Army including the Infantry and Paratroopers, usually to those who had a weapon that could not have a bayonet fitted to it, like the Thompson machine gun.

This full size replica has a metal blade and the handle is made from leather washers (the same as the original war time knives), and has the early type of markings on the blade which is "US M3 1943".

The leather M6 scabbard is also made like the originals so it has the metal plate on the bottom to stop the blade from cutting through the leather, correct diamond shaped rivets, metal teeth on the throat guard to help prevent the knife cutting the leather, strap fastening across the handle, belt loops (this is also where the leg strap goes, leg strap not included) and metal belt hangers.

Features:

  • Early style stamping on the blade "US M3 1943"
  • Metal blade
  • Handle is made up of leather washers, like the originals.
  • Includes leather M6 scabbard.
