ACW Confederate Leather Belt No Buckle Black

American Civil War leather belt with Confederate States stampings.

These are high quality hand made leather belts made in England. Suitable for most American Civil War (A.C.W.) and Indian wars belt buckles.

The belt has a sewn in loop at one end and a brass hook on the other end of the belt. Designed so no sewing/stitching is required to fit a buckle on. Slide on your buckle then thread the end with the brass hook on through the leather loop which is sewn onto the other end of the belt pull tight and this will hold one end of the buckle. The other part of your buckle is simply threaded onto the end with the brass hook then place the hook through one of the holes in the belt.

The black belt is stamped with "Richmond Arsenal VA".

The sizes are the actual measurements of the belts, when you order remember how you are going to wear the belt. You will need to allow (add a few inches on) for any clothes the belt is going over. If you are wearing it a belt for your jeans allow 2" extra if you are going to wear it over a shirt and tunic you will need to add at least 5" depending on the jacket you are going to wear it over. Just put the jacket on and measure over the jacket to find the size to order.

You can of course add extra holes into the belts to make them smaller. Sizes are from the tip of the belt to the first and last punched hole on the belt.

• Medium Belt measures from 26" to 35" (65 to 89cm). Will fit someone approximately with a waist of between a 30" and 36" when worn over a coat.
