WW2 101st Airborne Replica 506th Para Helmet

Geniune post war M1 helmet, which we have converted to the WW2 paratrooper style by the following changes.

• Replaced the late war green infantry chinstrap with the early WW2 stitched on paratrooper tan canvas chinstrap.
• Resprayed the outer shell with the correct WW2 green.
• Converted a post war Infantry liner to a paratrooper liner by adding canvas A frames and female studs for the chinstrap to clip into the liner.
• Fitted a leather chin strap which fits into the included liner and is worn over the front lip of the helmet.
• Paratrooper leather chin cup fitted onto the A frames.
• The helmet markings of the 506th PIR of the 101st Airborne Division which the spades has been painted on both sides of the helmet.
