US WW2 Officers Private Purchase Tunic Original
Original US Army Officers 4 pocket A class dress uniform tunic.
This is a private purchase tunic with the companies label on the inside which is "Shragge Quality" which I understand was a company in St Louis USA.
This seems to be made in WW1 officers material rather than the WW2 material so it is a different colour to the standard WW2 officers tunics. It is not made in the WW1 style so I think it is a between the wars made tunic.
There are belt hooks on the back and it has the officer sleeve braids on the cuffs,
There is an size ink stamp of 38".
Chest measures 49cm (19.25") across the front, under the arms. The back length is 74cm (29").
