This was sewn onto the side of the US Garrison cap by American airborne soldiers assigned to the artillery in the gliders.

This replica cap badge is the same as the original war time badge which features a glider on a red background.

This officers version has the glider facing to the right and was worn on the side of the garrison cap with the glider facing forwards.

This cap badge was worn by Airborne Glider Artillery and Airborne Engineers.
