There are plenty of replica Colt 45 holsters for sale but most seem to be marketed to sell cheap, to sell them cheap they are made from cheap leather and need work to shape the leather to fit the colt pistol in nicely.

So Kay Canvas have made these reproduction leather belt holsters from a softer better quality leather so they fit most Colt 45 pistols in straight away.

If you compare these to our other Colt 45 holsters that we sell, you will find that the leather has been worked longer before they have been cut and sewn to give a softer, smoother more flexible leather. The extra work on the leather gives a better quality feel to and shape to the holster, more like the original WW2 holsters that have been used for awhile. The holster is still stiff enough to hold the shape of the holster but they are easier to put the pistol in and out of the holster.
