£19.99 £16.66

American WW2 ammunition pouch for the M1 carbine. Two pocket pouch for the 15 round magazines.

This is the pouch that can be fitted onto the M1 Carbine butt.

Premium quality webbing pouch, these are made by Kay Canvas using the best fabrics. The metal is brass not steel and the cotton canvas webbing has the correct weight and weave of the originals for a high quality pouch. These are as good as originals, they just do not have that old musty smell to them.

This is the standard belt pouch for the M1 carbine in WW2, it also the model that was fixed onto the butt of the M1 carbine.

The belt pouch has 2 pockets (cells) which each hold a 15 round magazine for the M1 Carbine so it will hold a total of 2 x 15rd magazines.

Made in the correct WW2 colour of OD#3 which is a tan/khaki colour.

On the back there is a sleeve that slides over the standard M1936 pistol belt, the press stud in the sleeve allowed it to be clipped onto the matching press stud on the pistol to stop it from moving around, handy if you are using the Carbine instead of the Colt 45 where you are only carrying one carbine magazine pouch, 1st aid pouch and maybe a water bottle. It was common for several pouches to be worn on the belt in a full combat set up where the other pouches or the clips holding the suspenders on the belt would stop the pouches from sliding around.

Although it was designed as a belt pouch it was often fixed onto the butt of the M1 Carbine, to do this you have to slide the pouch over the end of the barrel and gently work the pouch down over the sights and onto the butt. You will have to remove the magaizne from the Carbine to fit it on. It is a tight fit so be patient if the sleeve was too big it would just fall off the end of the stock.

Made in the correct WW2 colour of OD#3 which is a tan/khaki colour.
