we have found a original packet of these SS catgut which were used for sewing up wounds of soldiers during WW2. The label reads Das Schwartz Korps which was a SS newspaper during WW2 so we can only guess that these were paid for by the newspaper like an early form of promotion/ sponsorship. Unissued condition and mostly dated 1943.
