US WW2 Paratrooper Jump Boots Brown by Combat Serviceable

American WW2 paratrooper jump boots.

The US Airborne loved their jump boots, it was a sign to everyone else that they were elite troops that they airborne there were no short boots and gaiters for the airborne. 

These reproduction jump boots by Combat Serviceable are made in the regulation russet brown colour and features:

  • 12 eyelets.
  • External toe cap (double layer leather but not steel reinforced).
  • Leather uppers.
  • External heel support (double layered) to give extra support.
  • Cotton and nylon mix laces.
  • Rubber heel and rubber sole glued and stitched onto mid sole.
  • Rubber sole is stamped "U.S. Army".
  • Heel is angled on the in step so parachute shroud lines would slide away rather than get snagged on straight edges.

These jump boots were worn in the field with the combat uniform like the M42 and M43 jump suit as part of the dress uniform with the A class uniform.

Some other units were also allowed to wear the jump boots like the Rangers and the 1st Special Service Force.
