B7 flying goggle officially called "Goggle, Assembly, Flying, Type B-7" worn by pilots and air crew of the United States Army Army Force in WW2.

Introduced in 1933 and worn by pilots and aircrew until they were replaced by the A-6530 goggles in October 1943, they would have still be worn later than this date in the war though.

The Flying goggles were designed for pilots in open cockpits and side gunner but were worn by all types of aircrew to provide better vision in overcast weather, sun and even splinters from explosions.

USAAF B7 flying goggle features:

  • Two piece grey rubber cushions which have the correct stamping of "33B5021-3" and "33B5021-2" onto the rubber.
  • Metal frames have air vent holes on the underside.
  • The hinge in the middle is correctly marked "USAC GOGGLE TYPE B-7".
  • The small tubular air vents on the top of the frames are the style made by American Optical in the war.
  • Adjustable elastic headband.

These are highly detailed replica WW2 USAAF flight goggles.
