WW2 US Army Camouflage HBT Jacket
American WWII army camo HBT shirt/jacket.
Officially called "Jacket, Herringbone Twill, Camouflage" (H.B.T.).
This jacket was worn in Normandy by some US Army units such as the 41st Armoured Infantry Regiment which was part of the 2nd Armoured Division.
The uniform was originaly developed and used in the jungle fighting of the Pacific war. This is the Army version and was not used by the USMC. The outer side has a predominantly green camouflage and the inner, a sand camouflage. This replica jacket follows the original design in that there are pockets only on the green side.

- Two chest pockets on the green camouflage side, closed by plastic buttons.
- Chest pockets are large sized and are bellows along the bottom and on one side
- Anti gas flap behind the front opening.
- Front is closed by concealed plastic buttons.
- Reinforced patch on elbows.
- Cuffs can be tightened by plastic buttons.
