1937 Webbing Cross Straps Green by GSE

1937 Webbing Long Shoulder straps by General Service Equipment

By the middle of the war all soldiers would have blancoed their khaki webbing to colour KG3 (Khaki green N03) This was so the webbing could blend in with the natural camouflage of the trees and vegetation of Europe. The soldiers continued to Blanco their webbing when battling north in operation Market Garden at Arhnem and the crossing of the Rhine in Operation Varsity.

  • Cross straps to fit up to height 6ft (180cms)
  • loop on rear to allow straps to cross
  • Webbing canvas is made in green so should not need to be blancoed again (colour dye)
  • Buckles are brass so can be polished up if required for parade
