. This was helmet bag/carrying straps was used on the Home front in WW2.
We have seen a few of these in museums and in books but we have never managed to track down an original one. After studying one in a museum and looking at examples in books we have replicated a helmet carrier. It is made of cotton with a draw cord and the adjustable strap is like the strap used on the MKVII gas mask bag.
Price is for one helmet carrier/shoulder bag, helmet is not included.
Shoulder strap is 2" (5cm) wide.
