This ankle boot was used during both WW1 and WW2 by Officers
The Brown Officers Ammo Boot was privately purchased by all British Army Officers to a War Department design whether they were serving in the Trenches of France or the North African Desert, the jungles of Burma or landing on a Normandy beach on D Day. can also be worn by ATS with brown leather Anklets
