This stainless steel lid fits onto the top of the US issue metal mug which fits onto the bottom of the US plastic 1 qt water bottle (canteen).
Speeds up the boil time when cooking with the metal canteen mug and keeps and then will help keep your drink hotter longer and stops things falling into your brew if you are camping under trees etc.
Made from heavy gauge stainless steel and has been designed to fit correctly onto the US issue metal mug (the one that the US plastic canteen, water bottle fits into for packing).
Please note it does not fit the Crusader mug or some copy US mugs.
