US WW2 Army Cereal Rations Film Prop from the Fury Film
US WW2 ration box. This is a replica of breakfast ration that would be found on the larger ration boxes rather than the individual rations. Made for the Fury film.
The prop department working on the Fury made a large amount of different rations for the film, at great expensive as they wanted them not only to look correct but also edible so the actors could be filmed eating them.
The box is printed with "Premixed whole wheat and soy cereal with salt, sugar and powered skim milk" 14 ounces net this package will make five servings". The glue on the side of the box has come away so the powder is leaking out of the side.
The box is full of a powder, it is no longer edible due to its age and it has not been stored correctly for food, so it is being sold a film prop and is not for eating.
