This Para Jacket has been made after many requests asking for a more fitted style of smock, which includes a more straight forward size chart.
This Denison Jacket is the exact same design of the 1972 DPM Para Smock, and it pays a fitting homage to the past whilst making improvements on the original 1940's design. Para’s of old will recognise the design features of this smock that they too wore in 1970's and 1980's while serving in Northern Ireland, The Falklands and West Germany.
It is a more practical Denison smock that we feel would be more useful for activities such as shooting, hunting, or even walking the dog to the pub. It could also be used for the occasional test drive in a jeep.

The 1972 Para Jacket features
- Lined collar with Denison fabric and not wool lined
- Half lined shoulders with green cotton denim
- Narrower body for better fit
- Sizes based on normal fittings Small to XX large.
- 4 Larger sized pockets that are bellows for extra capacity.
- Waist cord adjustable both side
- Hem cord adjustable
- Knitted cuffs
- 2 large inside chest pockets
- Poachers’ pockets, Inside rear
- Tail snaps up on rear
- Full length Lighting zipper with cotton tab puller
- Brass Newey press studs
- Full length Denison zipper Placket to stop wind get though.
- Hanging hook on inside collar
Sizes are based on your normal civilian clothes with some space for warm clothes underneath.
