Denix M1911A1 Colt 45 Pistol Replica Field Strips With Black Grips

An improved version of the Denix replica Colt 45, this version now has a working safety catch and can be fully stripped-down!

Denix have been making the replica M1911A1 Colt 45 for a long time, but have never improved their replica until now.

The manufacturing of replicas by Denix has improved with their newer models so they decided to go back and redesigned the popular Colt 45 replica. The original model had some non moving parts so the likes of the safety catch didn't move or work, this newer model is a vast improvement as all the catches move and work and it can be stripped-down just like the original US Army M1911A1 so it is great for displays or film work.

This is a full size metal replica with moving parts so it can be cocked (by pulling back the top slide) and dry fired (by pulling the trigger) and the magazine is removable.

The Denix replica Colt 45 with wood grips features:

• All metal (not gun metal, it is a softer cast metal).
• Moving parts.
• Works like the original Colt 45 but it cannot fire bullets or blanks, so is safe and legal.
• Top slide can be pulled back to cock the hammer.
• Pull the trigger to fire and release the hammer.
• Magazine is removable by pressing the catch release button on the handle.
• Top slide can be held back in the open position.
• Working safety catch.
• Can be stripped-down like the original by depressing and turning the catch at the end of the barrel, then by removing a catch/bar you can slide off the top slide, the barrel and spring.
• Black plastic grips.

Please note when you strip-down the pistol there are some small parts which may be lost, so it is recommended you place a towel or cloth under the gun to catch any parts that fall out. Also Denix do not sell spare parts, so if you loose any part we cannot supply any replacement parts.

The replica guns are sold as props for film, theatre and re-enactment use. We can only ship them to a UK address via courier (excluding the Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly and the Channel Islands which we cannot ship to because of flight restrictions). Sorry we cannot send them outside of the U.K. They are made to look and feel realistic and although they are made from metal, it is not a gun metal and they are designed so they cannot chamber or fire any rounds of ammunition. They are designed for prop use and they have moving parts, although excessive use will wear the parts out, worn out parts are not covered by the warranty and the manufacture does not make or supply spare parts.
