Original US Issue poncho.
This replaced the heavy non ripstop ponchos.
Used condition these are sold as collectible items and are not waterproof.
The date stamp is still readable which 1971 so not late 1970's and 1980's like most ripstop ponchos that you see.
The green colour has a white look to it, i do not think this will wash off I think it how it has aged.
