Italian Camouflage Trousers with Leg Pocket by RUM

WW2 German combat trousers made in Italian camouflage fabric by Richard Underwood Militaria.

This design of trouser is different to our other Italian camouflage trousers the main difference being the large leg pocket on the front of the thigh. 

During the war the Germans used the Italian camouflage to make several pieces of clothing including jackets, trousers and one piece combi's (coveralls).

The Germans used the Italian fabric but had the uniforms made in the German style, so these are not Italian army uniforms. The camouflage was used by the German troops mainly after 1943 when the Italian Army surrendered and the Germans disarmed any Italian soldier. The Italian camouflage was worn by units including the 1 SS Panzer Division Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler and the 12 SS Pz Div Hitlerjugend.

These German WW2 trousers by Richard Underwood are made in Italian camouflage and features:

• Single waist adjustments straps on the back.
• Two front hand pockets.
• Large pocket on the front of the left thigh, which is has a flap and is closed by a single button.
• The fly is closed by 4 concealed buttons and two exposed buttons on the waist band.
• Straight leg cut, less baggy than other models.
• Inside leg on a 32" waist is 30.5" (78cm)
