K98 Brown Ammo Pouches dated 1940
A quality pair of K98 brown leather ammo pouches
Before WW2 brown ammo pouches were standard Army issue but soldiers would then polish them black, as the war progressed the pouches were made in black and the construction was simplified with fixed belt loops and metal rivets instead of white cotton stitching.
