Designed by the German Imperial Army as a campaign cover for the pickelhaube to stop the shine of the brass helmet plate and damage the leather.
This quality made cover is to fit man’s/soldiers 1895 pickelhaube
- 100% cotton Jute/ Hessian fabric
- Natural jute colour
- 5 steel hooks around the edge which are fitted inside little pockets to protect the leather.
- Made from 4 pieces of fabric.
- small buttonhole in centre rear
- Will age naturally to a darker colour when on campaign just like they would have done in 1914.
