M1931 German Army WW2 bread bag (Brotheutel 31) in light grey cotton canvas.
The bread bag is a traditional part of German Army uniform having being issued since the 1800's to 1945. Inside was carried field rations including Rye bread and butter dish containing fat to spread on the bread.
M-1931 bread bag features:
- 2 buttoned tabs to attach to belt
- 2 metal D loops painted in light grey to attach water bottle
- 2 leather tabs also to secure water bottle Inside
- leather strap to stop food falling out.
- with removable shoulder strap
Made of a cotton canvas with leather straps and Aluminium dish buttons.
