The bread bag is a traditional part of Luftwaffe uniform having being issued since the 1800's to 1945. Inside was carried field rations including Rye bread and butter dish containing fat to spread on the bread.
M-1931 bread bag features:
- 2 buttoned tabs to attach to belt
- 2 metal D hooks to attach water bottle
- 2 leather tabs also to secure water bottle Inside
- internal leather strap.
Made of cotton canvas with real leather straps and Aluminium dish buttons.
