M1941 USMC Suspenders First Pattern Flat Buckle M41 Straps by Kay Canvas

US WW2 Marine corps suspenders made by Kay Canvas.

These are the early first model of suspenders, the main difference with the early M41 suspenders is the buckle which adjusts the length of the straps. On the first pattern the buckle was made flat on the later war suspenders the flat buckle was improved with a curved shaped buckle.

These first pattern M41 USMC suspenders are essential for any early war impression.

M41 Marine suspenders features:

• Early flat metal buckle.
• 2 shoulder straps.
• Single snap clip on the back end of the strap to connect to the belt.
• Front of the strap has a round metal ring with 2 short straps with hooks on to connect to the belt.
• Maximum extended length of each strap measured to the ends of each buckle 140cm.
• OD#3 (tan/khaki)   

These are made with premium quality webbing and are made by Kay Canvas using the best materials. The metal is brass not steel and the cotton canvas webbing has the correct weight and weave of the originals for a high quality finish. These are as good as originals, they just do not have that old musty smell to them.
