M35 German Infantry Helmet. Field Grey Double Decal Army

M35 German Army Infantry WW2 steel helmet. Includes the shell, liner, chinstrap and double decals

This is a replica WW2 German infantry M35 model which has the rolled or "crimped" edge to the rim, in later models this rolled edge was omitted as a cost saving measure. The two air vents also replica the large insert-able rivet vents.

From 1935 the double decals were worn, but from March 1940 they started to remove the national flag decal and from August 1943 all decals were ordered to be removed.

Features:

• M35 pattern steel shell with a rolled edge and two air vents
• Leather liner which has the correct metal crown which is held into the helmet by three split pins
• Leather chinstrap stamped with maker and berlin
• Stamped inside with manufactures 4 digit code
• Stamped inside with shell and liner size like original
• The decals are on the opposite sides from regulation which was seen in war time but for unknown reason
