M6A1 Antitank HE Heavy mine and carrying frame, deactivated.
This is a deactivated mine which has a removable "plug arming AT mine M4" included. When you un screw the plug there is a date of 1944 on the inside.
Large plug on the side of the mine and the two small screw in plugs are missing from the side and bottom, the holes all have black tape on them.
The carrier is the early model which has fixed catches. Which are basically two strips of metal hooked over the frame and as they where originally designed not to be reused they did not have to be made to last, so they easily snap and break. Both of the catches have snapped off and are missing.
The carry handle is also the early model which does not have any hinges on it.
The cage has been repainted so there are no markings are visible. The square plate on the front which would have all the details like when is was packed etc is missing.
