Original WW2 issue in a nice size with that important D-Day and Arnhem date of 1944

Original steel Paratrooper helmet. The inside under the lining is painted the original light green with the upper inner has been painted dark Green. At some time, the outer has been painted a sand colour with a black SAS shield so possibly could have been re-issued in 1958 as two squadrons of 22 SAS were deployed to Oman to put down a rebellion during the Jebel Akhdar War. The SAS played a key role in fighting communist insurgents, carrying out lightning attacks and assisting the Sultan's forces.

- Soldiers name Initials. written inside liner
- Original tan canvas chinstrap with brass buckles
- Original Blackened brass chinstrap hangers and bolts
- Original Rubber bump pad
