Oberst Kurt Steiner can usually be seen wearing his Black leather German Pilots Jacket and his Knights Cross with swords and Oak Leaves around his neck, with a white silk pilots scarf cut up from a parachute.
He wears a Luftwaffe Officers Visor cap with the wire removed which was common with Field Officers as it was more practical and showed he was a combat soldier.
