British WW1 P1914 leather equipment Entrenching tool pouch.
This leather E tool carrier held the metal head of the British entrenching tool metal head (spade/pick combination).
It has two straps with brass buckles on the back to attach it to the rest of the pattern 1914 leather equipment. It is stitched and riveted together with a 22 cm opening half way across the top and going slightly down the side, this opening is secured by a 1" strap with a brass stud closure.
Unlike the WW2 1937 pattern E tool carrier, this only holds the head, you need the helve carrier to carry the wood handle.
Made from quality leather in a ripple finish
Price is for the leather carrier only, the entrenching tool and helve carrier are not included.
