2nd pattern tropical jungle fatigue jacket.
The second pattern tropical combat jacket was introduced in January 1965 and improved on the original design by covering the exposed buttons. The covered buttons was introduced because of complaints the exposed buttons snagged on undergrowth and branches in the jungle.
The 2nd pattern is made from poplin cotton and does have the ripstop weave in the fabric.
The poplin cotton is the same material as used on the first pattern jungle uniform.

- Poplin cotton.
- No ripstop weave, just plain cotton.
- Button waist adjustable tabs.
- All buttons are covered.
- Shoulder epaulettes.
- Gas flap behind the front closure, 2" wide flap on the inside.
- 2 chest pockets with a pen pocket on the inside.
- 2 lower cargo pockets.
- Green.
Label on the inside reads "Coat Man's cotton wind resistant poplin, OG-107"
