We have a high quality blank firing replica of the MP40, this is not a scratch built replica but a factory made replica and to top it off it is made in Germany.

GSG (German Sport Guns) make a live firing version of the MP40 so they thought they would make a 9mm blank firing version. The live firing version have very reports for reliability and build quality which is passed onto these replica versions.
These are UK legal blank firing MP40's, the European spec versions are not legal in the UK.
Theses UK spec blank firers are top venting and have the correct extra hardened barrel block inside them. The European spec ones either do not top vent or top vent too far down the barrel.

GSG recommend you use there own brand GSG 9mm blanks as these are the blanks they used when designing and testing the replica.

The blank firing MP40 by G.S.G. features:
- 9mm P.A.K. blanks.
- Semi Automatic (fires one shot which each pull of the trigger).
- Automatically ejects and loads a new blank into the chamber.
- Bolt works like the real one flying back after each round.
- Top vents just above the magazine (UK legal specs states that it must vent close enough to the point of discharge so that if the barrel is cut at the start of the barrel blockage there is no barrel left to convert it into a live firer).
- Proper magazine catch release.

The 2019 batch now have a safety plate added onto the side, so you cannot rest your thumb on top of the vent hole. This is a safety feature so you do not hurt your hand. The plate is screwed on and it is there for your safety if you remove it, it is at your risk.

Under the VCR act you need to be a member of a re-enactment group, military vehicle owner or it is for film or TV use. Proof will be required before we can ship the MP40 blank firing replica to you.
The guns will need about 10 to 20 blanks to bed in then after that you should have no jamming etc, Our demo now has had about 100 blanks through it and has had no issues after the first 3 rounds (which was due to us getting to know the gun rather than anything else). You will need to clean the gun just like a real gun to keep it working properly.
