1908 Small Pack by Kay Canvas

£39.99 £33.32

1908 webbing small pack by Kay Canvas

British Great War 1914-1918  WW1

The small pack was carried  by the soldier either on the left hand side hanging from the belt connected to the 2" straps from the belt or can be carried on the back connected to the shoulder straps like a rucksack.

Inside the pack was normally carried all his personal items like Hard rations, washing kit, rifle cleaning kit, spare socks and writing equipment.

This 1908 small pack is the third model introduced in February 1914 and was used through out the Great War 1914- 1918

After much research we now offer a new range of 1908 webbing which is a close match to the original set which was issued in WW1 and is of museum quality.  To ensure a high standard of colour on our webbing set we colour matched against some original 1908 webbing to get as close to the original as we could.  The brass fittings on our webbing sets are die stamped and the press studs have the same pattern as an original WW1 set would have had.
