Royal Artillery FS Field Service Cap
The coloured field service cap was introduced in June 1937 and every British regiment and Corp was scheduled a colour selection based on regimental traditions.
The Royal Artillery colour was red and navy blue a colour that has been associated with them for since Napoleonic times.
Designed to be worn with mess dress and when in camp when on regimental duties.
This FS cap was also worn by female members of the ATS who were serving in Royal artillery AA units.
