Imperial Germany WW1 M1914 Trousers Steingrau Wool Trouser by RUM

From £79.99 £66.66

German WW1 Imperial model M1914 wool field trouser in steingrau (grey) by RUM.

In WW1 the German army was issued a long wool trouser called "Tuchhosen", in 1914 the colour of the trousers was changed from a green shade colour to a greyer colour called steingrau.

The 1914 trouser was identical to the M1907/10 trouser apart from the colour. The colour changed to steingrau due to supply issues of dyeing the wool in feldgrau and not be able to match the colour of the tunics correctly so the German army changed the colour of trousers to grey colour (steingrau) in September 1915. German trousers seem to be referred to various model dates, as this trousers is the same as the M1907 just made in the grey (steingrau) colour so the steingrau is usually called the M1910 or M1914.

Imperial German M1914 wool Tuchhosen, trousers, in steingrau with a red stripes down each leg are part of the Richard Underwood Militaria range of quality reproductions.
