German green canvas webbing belt.

Used as part of the tropical uniform and issued in Europe instead of the leather equipment in the later part of the war due to shortages in leather.

The Tropical belt features:

Cotton weave canvas belt which is strong but pliable.
The belts weave allow it to be strong in the height to hold pouches but pliable enough to be comfortable when wearing it, some replica belts are very course and stiff making them uncomfortable to wear.
Width of belt is 4.5cm (1 3/4").
The end of the of the webbing belt is correctly over-locked stitched to stop any fraying.
Aluminium belt hook on one end of the belt to fasten onto the belt buckle (belt buckle not included).
Leather tab with a series of holes in it, on the inside of the belt to hold the belt buckle.
Canvas belt is green colour.
