M37 or M40 Wool Trousers By Richard Underwood Militaria

From £64.99 £54.16

Model 1937 or Model 1940 Wool Trousers.

At the beginning of WW2 the German Army was wearing the Lange Tuchhose, which was a wool trouser that resembled more of a civilian trouser than a combat military trouser. The design of the trouser was basically the same from the before the war up to  1943 when the German Army introduced the M43 trouser. The only major change to the M37 trouser was in 1940 when the colour changed from slate grey to the field grey colour of the tunics (M36, M40, M41 and M42 tunics).

Some people call the trouser the M37 model and they distinguish with the two colours so they are called the M37 slate grey and the M37 field grey others refer to them as two different models of trousers the M37 is the slate grey and the M40 is the field grey. We have for sale the M37 trouser in field grey or the M40 trouser, whichever is your preference in name.

This WW2 German model 1937 trouser in field grey (Model 40 trouser) replica is made by Richard Underwood Militaria and has all the features of the original.
