This cuff band or cuff title is made of black wool and embroidered.
The Hitlerjugend cuff title or cuff band was worn by the 12th SS Panzer Division which was a Waffen SS armoured division and the majority of its enlisted men were former members of the Hitler Youth. They first saw action on 7 June 1944 as part of the German defense of the Caen area during the Normandy campaign. On 16 December 1944, they fought against the US Army in the Battle of the Bulge.
